Engineering provides a substantial contribution through the provision of seamless, distinctive services to IAS and to a lesser extent, to third party aircraft operating into Male' International Airport. Engineering assists IAS in strengthening its ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing customer needs whilst maintaining fiscal integrity.

Engineering and Maintenance Services are rendered with a high degree of workmanship in the most efficient, effective and professional manner by a well trained, skilled workforce, they encompass all primary facets of aircraft maintenance.

Facility

The Engineering Facilities are based at a hangar (59mx33m) located at Male'’ International Airport. The hangar and its working environment are protected from weather by adjustable sliding doors. Lighting is provided by high voltage mercury bulbs. The hangar is lightning protected and fire extinguishers are provided.
